Modern life is marked by striving… Striving to get ahead at work, to raise our kids right, to achieve something worthwhile in life. It’s not wrong to pursue excellence, but we often strive in ways deprive us of the deep rest that is available to us in Christ. Paradoxically, God calls us to strive for that rest through faith in Him so that, one day, we might enter into eternal rest in our heavenly homeland.
