In this passage, we see Joseph bless (and, in some cases, curse) his 12 sons. This prophetic word and it’s realization in time help us to see that even though the visible church is Christ’s body and bride, its people are a mixed bag. There will be times of blessing and times of curse, but the promise is that amid all the mess, God is doing something beautiful.
