Son of Joseph, Son of Adam, Son of God (Luke 3:23-38)

Who loves reading the phone book? When we come to genealogies in the Bible, we often struggle to find joy and inspiration in the reading of long lists of names. But what if though of the list more like a mosaic? When we zoom out from the individually colored tiles (the Arphaxads and the Mahaleels), we see a beautiful picture of the One who is both fully man and fully God.
