Cleansed & Reconnected (Luke 5:12-16)

When the leper came to Jesus to be cleansed, he wasn’t just looking for someone to clear up his skin condition. Leprosy wasn’t just a physical condition; it was a social disease. It kept people disconnected and alienated from the people and worship of God. When Jesus cleansed the leper, He didn’t just clean up his skin. He made a way for him to come back and be a part of God’s people. Jesus does the same for us; He cleanses us of our sin so that we can become a part of God’s family and worship Him together.
