Everything had gone wrong in God’s good world, so much so that He was ready to wipe the slate clean. And yet, He appointed one man to bridge the gap between the world He made and the one He would remake. In that one man, we see an image of the God-man who would come convey us safely through the waters of God’s judgment and bring us into a new world to come.
