Sent to Proclaim (Luke 9:1-10)

Jesus has empowered His church to extend His mission into the world. By His Spirit, He evokes a response from everyone who hears—whether it’s joyful acceptance in those whose hearts have been prepared to receive the Word or the perplexity and rejection of those who continue to walk in darkness. This ought to encourage us to be about His mission to proclaim the Gospel to the ends of the earth. He is sovereign, and He is with us even to the end of the age.
