The rules God gave to teach His people about their need for inward cleansing were merely shadows of the good things that have come in Christ. But that doesn’t that we are now a people without rules. The reason behind the rules has been inscribed upon our hearts, and the Holy Spirit has taken up residence within us so that we can glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
