With His identity confirmed, Jesus is led by the Spirit into the wilderness to undergo the devil’s testing. Will He be the righteous Son as He’s been presented? Will He be faithful to His mission? The answer, of course, is yes. And in withstanding the Devil’s temptations, Jesus not only shows us who He is but how we can follow Him in our own times of testing.
