“What it Takes to Follow Jesus” (Luke 9:51-62)

Jesus does not sugarcoat the truth. Before we take up our cross and follow Him, He wants us to know exactly what we’re getting ourselves into. In this passage, we’ll see that following Jesus means dealing with rejection, lack, new loyalties, and a complete shift in focus. That may sound like a hard road to walk, but the promise is that it leads to vindication and glory in the presence of Jesus Himself.
