Why Should I Take Up My Cross? (Luke 9:23-27)

The offer of the Gospel is free, yet to accept that offer is to deny ourselves. And to follow Christ is to bear our own version of His cross—daily. Why would we want to do something so difficult. In this sermon, we consider Jesus’ answer to that question. If we take up our cross and follow Him, then we can expect salvation, a heavenly inheritance, and a glory that will put any and every naysayer to shame.
