Bea Malherbe
As for Mohammed, he is still regularly attending our classes, but desperate for his family to be here with him. He fears for their safety in Afghanistan, but they do not have passports, so reuniting in a third country is not a possibility for them. He has a wife, 2 sons and 2 daughters. The freeze on all current refugee/parolee processes has hit him really hard. It finally seemed like they were starting to process his family in December, and then it came to a screeching halt in January. My heart really goes out to him. He is at times very depressed. Please continue to pray for him and his family, and also for the Lord to reveal His love and grace for them in a mighty way. They are culturally Muslim. Also, for me for wisdom since he comes to me with his questions, and I am not an expert. So my answers are only as good as what google can tell me, and I don't want to give him the wrong information. He has other resources that helps with the process, including a lawyer, but the language difficulties cause trust issues and extra stress.
