Please remember to pray for our granddaughter, Lilly, as she has surgery early tomorrow, 5/1, for medial meniscus repair on her knee. We pray there are no complications and that she recovers well! Greg Cates, who is Andrew’s stepfather in law, continues to worsen after his massive stroke and has been transferred from ICU to regular floor for palliative care. He will be transferred to another facility to continue palliative care when a facility can be found that will take him. This is devastating as he remains completely paralyzed on right side, unable to speak and very combative & disoriented & many other grave issues . Emily’s father-in-law, Billy Mofield, is improving and this week has been able to take a couple of steps with a walker. He remains unable to swallow and has a PEG tube for tube feeding. He has been critically ill since January after a severe reaction from chemo for his lymphoma, and this progress for him is miraculous. He is currently in a rehab facility.
