The Zealous One (Ps 69:9)

Zeal for God’s house consumed David when he was cut off from the temple and its worship was polluted by his enemies. Hundreds of years later, that same zeal consumed the Son of David and drove Him to purify the temple—first, by running out the enemies and, second, by tearing down the house and rebuilding it in His people and by His Spirit.
