When Fear Meets Faith (Gen 31:1-23)
We’re jumping back into our series on Genesis with Jacob on the cusp of his return to the Promised Land. He’s left the threat of his father-in-law behind, but now he must face another before he can settle back in the land: his brother, Esau. 20 years later, will he still be holding a grudge? Will he fulfill his vow to kill his little brother? At this point in the story, Jacob doesn’t know. And, as he prepares to face his brother, we’ll learn something about what faith does in the face of fear.
